Welcome to Scrabble
This page is a guide for anyone new to the game.
Scrabble is the world’s classic word game where anyone is welcome to hop in. You don’t have to be fluent in English or even speak the language at all! You’re free to join the community and play at any skill level you wish. Though who knows, you may become Malaysia’s next top player!
How to get started
Once you know the basic rules, get acquainted with the official dictionary, currently CSW21. For in-game challenges, you may use any word judge software that supports that dictionary.
Then just keep playing! Find someone at your level to play with, whether in-person or online.
Playing Online
You can play Scrabble online for free at Woogles.io. There, you can match with a friend, or play against the computer at an easy level (Labeled Basic or Beginner Bot level).
Getting better
If you wish to improve your Scrabble skills, you can approach this any way you want. You may buy a book, observe games, find word lists, or even join a workshop where available.
The first word list you should start with is the 2-letter words. Once you’re confident enough, you can move on to the 3-letter list. Don’t worry, you don’t have to master every single word, just as many as you find handy.
Ready to compete?
If you enjoy competing with others, you may join an MSA tournament to get an official rating. The more games you win, the higher your rating goes.

Moving forward
Scrabble has lots to explore, as even the masters are constantly learning new words. If you want to get better at the game, it only takes study and practice. You can do this at any pace you want; the important thing is that you enjoy yourself!
